Meet the Team

Our Team of music therapists at Charlotte Music Therapy provide engaging sessions for individuals of all ages and abilities.

  • Board Certified Music Therapist

Elizabeth graduated from Appalachian State University in Boone, NC with a Bachelor of Music in Music Therapy. Having grown up in Charlotte, Elizabeth is very excited to be back home working with Charlotte Music Therapy! Elizabeth is passionate about using music to achieve non-musical goals with individuals, working together to best meet the client’s needs, while also focusing on their strengths. Aside from her music therapy career, Elizabeth is a huge lover of dogs, Taylor Swift, doing things outdoors, and playing guitar + singing songs whenever she has the chance.

  • Board Certified Music Therapist

Zoe earned her Bachelor of Science in Music Therapy at Duquesne University in Pittsburgh, PA. After graduation, Zoe completed her internship in Pittsburgh with Community Life and worked as Music Coordinator at Vincentian Homes providing music therapy services to residents in long-term care.

Zoe grew up in a musical family and always wanted music to be a part of her career. Zoe believes that music affects a person, not only emotionally, but physically, mentally, and spiritually. She focuses on working with clients - utilizing their strengths and interests - to achieve non-musical goals. Outside of music therapy, Zoe enjoys playing the bassoon, going on hikes, reading, knitting, and spending time with friends and family.
