Music Therapy is important to me because music has always been a part of how I connect with others and myself! I love using music to help others do the same, no matter what capacity that looks like for each individual.

As a music therapist, Gianna’s priorities are focused on the individual needs of those participating in the session. Gianna is passionate about people having positive music experiences, regardless of their familiarity with instruments, and she wants participants in sessions to feel capable and supported. Gianna’s background in education supports this approach, and she hopes to continue learning and applying teaching techniques into her sessions to promote creativity and self-expression. Gianna also creates space to promote autonomy of the participant and offers options that will best support what the individual needs in the moment. Gianna is intentional about meeting goals and creating meaningful experiences for all.
